Animal Classification
The animal Kingdom is divided into two groups. which are; vertebrates and invertebrates
vertebrates; are animals that have a backbone. They have a firm body because of the muscles that connect to their skeleton.
Invertebrates : are animals that do not have a backbone. They have soft inner bodies which are held in shape by a flexible covering of outer cell or by a hard covering called an exoskeleton.
There are five groups of vertebrates. Namely;
- Fish
- Mammals
- Bird
- Reptile
- Amphibians

Mammals | 1.Body covered in with fur and hair 2. Young develop inside a womb suckle their young 3.Warm blooded 4. Breath through lungs | Tiger, human, whale, dog, goat, and camel |
Amphibians | 1.Skin is moist and slimy 2. Lay eggs in water 3. Adult breath through lungs or the skin | Salamander, toad, frog |
